Mr. Nguyen Trung Thuan, who is one of the first EDL graduates, gave a presentation at the MARCO Satellite International Symposium 2012 as an invited lecturer in Tsukuba on October 30, 2012. He lectured about "Treatment of As in the soil of mining area in Thainguyen province, Vietnam by using phytoremediation" . He is currently working at the Vietnam Environment Administration.
After the symposium, he visited the University of Tsukuba and met with EDL staff, exchanging latest news.
