Ms. Kazuyo Nagahama, who is a current EDL candidate has received an Outstanding Poster Presentation Award at the 5th Japan-China-Korea Graduate Student Forum held from September 21 - 24, 2012.
She made a presentation entitled "Towards Sustainable Forestry in India: Prospects of Van Panchayat in Uttarakhand for Community-based Forest Management".
This it the fifth forum and was held in the University of Tsukuba this year. There were about 200 participants in the forum, including students and professors from Japan (5 universities), China (5 universities and 2 institutes), Korea (3 Universities), India, France, Thailand and so on.
