Master's Courses 【2 years】

In the Master’s program, students acquire knowledge that forms the basis for development as an environmental diplomatic leader. Compulsory fundamental courses include environmental sciences, laboratory techniques, and statistical processing methods, which aim to foster basic knowledge. There are also related courses in environmental ethics, environmental policies, and diplomacy. In addition, for the acquisition of practical administrative skills, students can earn credits from internships at international (research) institutions such as the United Nations University, UNESCO, and CIFOR. These activities are supported by courses in advanced English communication and negotiation skills. Through elective courses, students increase their knowledge of international relations, comparative culture, environmental policy assessment, and environmental journalism. All Master’s students must submit a thesis under the direction of a supervisor and other thesis advisory committee members.
